What are the names of gas and electricity companies in Cambridge and Boston area?

I am moving to Boston soon, and need to set up an account with one of the gas and electricity companies in Boston area. Please recommend one. Thank you.

1. I'm not sure you'll have any choice, but I used NSTAR while I lived in Boston/Cambridge, and they were reasonably good. You can check out the website at: http://www.nstar.com.

3. The electric companies keep buying each other. Now Dominion is in the Boston area and Nstar Electric bought Boston Edison. Cambridge has a municipal electric company (Cambridge Municipal I think it is called). Most gas customers have to use NSTAR.
