How long does it take for a Boston Terrier to fill out?
Our Boston is a little more than a year old. Is he still growing? He is very fit and healthy, but still doesn't have the "Hunkieness" of a Boston. I have only had rescue dogs and adult dogs, so I am not sure how long it takes for a young dog to fully develop. Thanks and have a paws up day!

- It takes about two years to grow and fill out...'prime' is at about 4 years.
- By the time he is a year old he should be fully grown. He might gain a couple of pounds over the years, - depending on his diet.
- It took my males 2 years to mature out. With drastic changes at between 16-18 months. My girl is 1 year and still changing and maturing. It takes some lines longer to mature than others. Have you checked out the BTCA website? You can read the offical standard for the Boston Terrier there. www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.org
